Peter joined McLennan Commercial Properties as a Commercial Broker in August 2014. His background in real estate and entrepreneurship gives him varied experience both as a business owner and finding properties for other business owners. Peter has a wealth of knowledge in the real estate industry. Peter has developed, bought and sold real estate personally for over 35 years. Additionally, Peter has owned and operated 3 different restaurants. Peter is fluent in both Italian and Spanish.
John joined McLennan Commercial Properties in October 2015 as a Broker. He has an extensive background in commercial real estate with 23+ years’ experience as an institutional asset & investment manager. He is well versed in the industrial, office, retail and multi-family product types. In his prior role as an owner’s representative, he completed numerous transactions including property dispositions, leases, mortgage finance, note sales and loan workouts / REO.
Owen J. Hayes II, MBA, CPA
Owen is a Sales Associate with McLennan Commercial Properties, and has been active in sales, purchases, and leasing activities for the past 14 years. A brief pictorial of properties involvement is attached to this page.Owen came to Commercial Real Estate; Retail, Industrial, Office, and Land Properties, after retiring from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in 2003. The area of concentration has been Chicago Metro and the collar counties since that time.
Owen is a Certified Public Accountant, and a Chartered Bank Auditor. He holds a Masters Degree in Real Estate Finance from DePaul University, a Banking Certificate from Vanderbilt University, and a CPA from the University of Illinois. Owen is a member of Multiple Listing Services of Northern Illinois, Loop Net Member Services, Northern Illinois Commercial Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors.
Jim Conrad is the Managing Broker of McLennan Commercial Properties, along with being a partner in the firm. Jim is extremely active in the Chicagoland brokerage industry: completing over $25,000,000 transaction volume since the beginning of 2015. Since joining McLennan as a Sales Associate in early 2008, Jim has been a consistent producer in all aspects of commercial real estate brokerage: providing tenant rep services, performing disposition analysis, and consulting on sales & purchases for a number of property owners (investors) and business owners (real estate users). Jim is currently active in multiple real estate investments of varying focuses, and is always interested in discussing the wealth building capability that real estate investment carries.Jim holds the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation and is currently an active CCIM Designee: serving as a Director on the Illinois Chapter CCIM Board & on the 2018 NICAR Officer nominating committee.
Jim was featured on a national commercial real estate brokerage podcast published on iTunes and was featured on a Real Estate Journals interview in 2015.

Originally from Oak Park, Illinois Doris Colson has lived in suburban Chicago all of her life. She comes from a background of Real Estate, new housing construction, managing a heating and air conditioning company and has been with McLennan Commercial Properties, Inc. since 2005. She is Administrative Assistant to the Brokers in the Commercial/Industrial part of McLennan Company. She also maintains a Managing Broker’s Real Estate license.Doris is mother to three adult children and grandmother to seven. Interests include reading, travel and philanthropic groups.
Steve began his work with McLennan Property Management in 2006. Steve started as a residential property manager overseeing a variety of condominium association, townhomes and apartment buildings. Steve quickly added commercial properties of all types to his management portfolio. In 2010 Steve became the Managing Broker of McLennan Property Management overseeing the day to day activities of the company and managing an individual portfolio of commercial properties. In 2011, Steve became a partner in McLennan Property Management.While overseeing the daily operations of the company and managing a commercial portfolio he achieved the distinguished designation of a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
In 2015 Steve became a partner in McLennan Commercial Properties complimenting the services of both the management and brokerage companies. Recently Steve has joined the Executive Council of the local IREM chapter whose goal it is to promote ethical business practices, maximizing the vale of investment in real estate and promoting superior management through education and information sharing.
Steve believes that continued personal attention that McLennan offers to its clients alongside its professional services distinguishes itself from other real estate firms.
Ty Stetzenmeyer joined McLennan Property Management in 2016. Ty has been in the real estate industry for over thirty-five years. Ty’s diverse real estate experience includes asset management, property management and leasing multi-family, office, retail, industrial and special use properties. He also has been instrumental in renegotiating multi-million dollar mortgages. Ty is an Illinois licensed managing broker, a CPM (Certified Property Manager), CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member). Ty holds a Bachelors in Business Administration. Ty believes one of the best ways to maximize the property owner’s assets is to communicate openly and effectively with the owner while providing excellent customer service.Ty has lived in the Chicago area for over 35 years and in Park Ridge for over 25 years.
Carol began her career with McLennan Companies in 2004. She is an administrative assistant who is responsible for tenant contact, accounting, appointments, vendor work orders and relations, and records. Prior to her work with McLennan Companies, she was with AON Corporation as Manager of Administrative Services.Carol was born and raised in Chicago. She is mother of Corinne and aunt to seven great nephews. Carol enjoys crochet and bocce ball.
Rosemary Schu comes from a diversified background, starting her career in advertising for a still-leading national women’s magazine. She’s an entrepreneur who owned and operated a successful secretarial service specializing in insurance and workman’s compensation attorneys, as well as was a marketing and event planner for a large downtown bank.Rosemary currently supports several property managers in the day to day operations of the property management company and is the voice when you call McLennan Company. She is married with four children and three granddaughters.
